By lengthening life expectancy, grows also the number of dementia patients in the Idrija old people's home. The authors of the article collected and analysed the data on residents' health condition in the retirement home Dom upokojencev Jožeta Primožiča Miklavža in Idrija for the period from January to October 2007 and compared them with the data acquired on their admission.
