Judo represents a unique way of training and at the same time one of the safest forms of combat sports for young people. With this, it can be considered as a basic sport with which the participants gain movement skills, functional efficiency, self-confidence, determination, calmness, reliability, self-control, body weight regulation and prevention of obesity. At the same time, trainees strengthen their psychological-social components of development and thus positively reduce bullying. Proposals are also presented for the design of learning how to fall safely preventive programmes, as falls are a basic movement pattern that we, unfortunately, can not avoid in the national prevention programs of the National Institute for Public Health in Slovenia (NIJZ). Judo thus represents a unique way of training and an educational tool that has a positive effect on the balanced development of children and adolescents and can have long-term positive consequences on the socioeconomic indicators of our society</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Namen članka je predstaviti nekatere večdimenzionalne vplive treniranja juda za otroke in mladostnike.
