The authors find that an important source for studying this theme is the close relations Korošec developed with Stražarji (Guards), a group of Catholic students at the University of Ljubljana who, under the spiritual guidance of Lambert Ehrlich, advocated integrationist and corporatist views. Thus, the treatise analyses the ideological profile of Stražarji by analysing their periodical, Straža v viharju (Guard in the Storm), emphasising that political concepts need to be adequately contextualised to be understood correctly as the same concepts can have different meanings. Based on this, the authors find that it is sensible to explore Stražarji as an example of the conservative right or as representatives of Catholic anti-modernism. Antona Korošca v 30. letih 20. stoletja, t.j. v zadnjem obdobju Koroščeve politične kariere. Avtorja ugotavljata, da se kot pomemben vir za to preučevanje te tematike kažejo tesni odnosi, ki jih je Korošec razvil s stražarji, skupino katoliških študentov na ljubljanski univerzi, ki so pod duhovnim vodstvom Lamberta Ehrlicha zagovarjali integralističnokorporativna stališča. V razpravi zato avtorja analizirata ideološki profil stražarjev preko analize njihovega glasila Straža v viharju, pri čemer poudarjata, da je potrebno politične koncepte ustrezno kontekstualizirati, da bi jih lahko razumeli, saj imajo lahko isti pojmi različne pomene. Na tej podlagi ugotavljata, da je stražarje smiselno obravnavati kot primer konservativne desnice oz. predstavnike katoliškega antimodernizma.
