The anniversary was recalled in various radio and television broadcasts at the time, and the Congress was also touched upon by various national and international researchers, who shed light on the events and personalities of the time from different perspectives. Nevertheless, itseemsthat there isstill a lot of research space and, above all, archival material that has not yet been researched and processed. This certainly includes the diary entries of Emperor Franz, in which he recorded some events in a very laconic style, descriptions of places and, above all, buildings that he observed and visited during his stay in Ljubljana. Interestingly, his descriptions of churches or church ceremonies(e.g. Holy Week) are surprisingly richer. Hence, in his diary, the Emperor took time to describe the interior of the Ursuline church in detail. No less interesting is his description of the Ljubljana cathedral, especially as it is presented at the ceremony of the episcopal consecration of the auxiliary bishop of Naples, which was attended by all the most prominent representatives. The Emperor’s writings, in describing individual festive events and Church ceremonies, especially the Easter Triduum, give us an almost plastic picture of the pulse of a particular day among the citizens of the capital of Carniola at that time. The present paper aims to shed some light on the celebrations of Church festivals in the light of the Emperor’s observations and to draw the attention of the general public to this - at least in Slovenia - unused material"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Leta 2021 je minilo dvesto let od ljubljanskega kongresa, ko so se v tedaj deželnem glavnem mestu Kranjske srečali cesar Franc I., car Aleksander I., neapeljski kralj Ferdinand IV. in številni predstavniki drugih evropskih držav tedanje dobe. Te obletnice so se takrat spomnili v različnih radijskih in televizijskih oddajah, prav tako pa so se tega kongresa dotaknili različni domači in tuji raziskovalci, ki so z različnih vidikov osvetljevali takratne dogodke in osebnosti. Kljub temu pa se zdi, da je ostalo še precej raziskovalnega prostora in predvsem še neraziskanega in neobdelanega arhivskega gradiva. Med slednje prav gotovo sodijo tudi dnevniški zapisi cesarja Franca, v katerem je sicer v zelo lapidarnem slogu obeležil nekatere dogodke, opise krajev in predvsem stavb, ki jih je ob svojem bivanju v Ljubljani opazoval in obiskoval. Zanimivo pa je, da so njegovi opisi cerkva ali cerkvenih slovesnosti (npr. velikega tedna) presenetljivo bolj bogati. Tako si je cesar v dnevniku dal duška in temeljito opisal notranjost uršulinske cerkve. Nič manjzanimiv ni njegov opis ljubljanske stolnice,zlasti še, ker jo predstavi ob slovesnosti škofovskega posvečenja pomožnega neapeljskega škofa, ki so se je udeležili vsi vidnejši cerkveni in posvetni predstavniki. Cesarjevi zapisi nam ob opisu posameznih prazničnih dogodkov in cerkvenih slovesnosti, zlasti še velikonočnega tridnevja, skoraj plastično prikažejo utrip posameznega dne med tedanjimi meščani glavnega mesta Kranjske.
