Based on the parameters of the individual’s current and optimal F-v profile, we can determine the strength or velocity deficit and adjust the strength training accordingly. The aim of the study was to use the MyJump application to measure the F-v profile in swimmers and determine whether the parameters obtained were related to tests that define leg work in swimming: swimming 25 m crawl and 5 m push-off from the pool wall after the turn. The force-velocity relationship was measured in ten swimmers by performing squat jumps with additional loads (TT, TT + 20%, TT + 40% and TT + 60%). We used the MyJump2 app for a smartphone (or tablet) to measure the jump height, and a GoPro Hero camera and Coach’s Eye app to measure the swim test times using underwater footage. Using the prepared Excel spreadsheet, we created an F-v profile for vertical jumps (90°) and for jumps at an angle of 30° and calculated the maximum theoretical force (F0), maximum theoretical velocity (v0), maximum mechanical power (Pmax), and curve slope coefficient or profile (SFv). We found no statistically significant relationships between the parameters of the measured profiles and the tests in water. The biggest problem was the small and heterogeneous sample of subjects, as we could not find enough swimmers to correctly and safely perform jumps with additional loads. The use of ICT technology proved to be straightforward. Whether F-v profiling is valid and reliable, and thus useful for targeting strength training, is still under debate in sports science</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Profil sila-hitrost (F-v) opisuje odnos med hitrostjo krajšanja mišice in silo, ki jo pri tej hitrosti lahko razvije.
