It analyses major trends in the transformation of gender regimes, including fatherhood, from the end of the 1980s until today. The analysis shows there is no simple unilinear development in the trend of men's growing engagement in caring. Instead, the emancipatory effects of care are becoming quite ambiguous for both genders since progressive social change has been taken over by a process of de-development of the semiperiphery within the larger landscape of neoliberal globalisation. To capture the change, the author introduces the novel concept of male hegemony built on opportune hybridity</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Teoretski okvir članka se umešča v presečišče kritičnih študij moških in moškosti s teorijo semiperiferialnosti. Avtorica analizira glavne smernice v transformaciji spolnih režimov, vključno z očetovstvom, od osemdesetih let prejšnjega stoletja do sodobnosti. Analiza pokaže, da večje vključevanje moških v skrbstveno delo ni preprost in enosmeren razvoj, pač pa so emancipacijski učinki skrbstvenih praks za oba spola dvoumni, ker progresivno družbeno spremembo nadomesti proces nazadovanja (ang. de-development) semiperiferije znotraj širšega konteksta neoliberalne globalizacije. Za označevanje te spremembe avtorica vpelje nov koncept moške hegemonije, osnovane na oportuni hibridnosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-G2VZK0NX"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-G2VZK0NX" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-G2VZK0NX/7c38418c-a635-4960-86f2-7e3532f768f7/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-G2VZK0NX/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-G2VZK0NX" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
