Drawing on material collected for the SLA, it examines and evaluates the phonetic transcription of the synchronic reflexes of Common Slovene (CS) *? Ż in the Ravensko local dialect and of CS *?`­in the Goričko and Dolinsko local dialects. Special attention is paid to variation in the recording of vowel quality and duration. By comparing traditional dialect transcriptions with the results of instrumental and acoustic analysis, the study seeks to explain the reasons for differences in vowel quality and/or quantity, or at least to substantiate their existence in the local dialect under investigation"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek preučuje zanesljivost veljavne slovenske narečne transkripcije na gradivu prekmurskega narečja panonske narečne skupine. Po gradivu za SLA je pregledana in ovrednotena narečna fonetična transkripcija sinhronih odrazov za issln.*? Ż v ravenskih govorih in issln.*?`­v goričkih in dolinskih govorih. Posebna pozornost je namenjena variantnosti zapisa kakovosti in kvantitete samoglasnikov.
