Focusing on \"infra-law\" - a set of informal, flexible regulations specific to street-level bureaucracy - the author proposes that infra-law can moderate the discretion exercised by these officials. Given that emergencies are inherently unpredictable and urgent, he argues that strict rule-following often fails, making discretion necessary for effective crisis response. However, excessive discretion risks inconsistency and arbitrariness, undermining legality and public trust. Infralaw, typically embodied in directives, protocols, or internal guidelines, offers a middle ground. By providing a real-time guidance adaptable to the unique demands of specific emergencies, infra-law helps align frontline actions with overarching legal and organisational frameworks while respecting the practical realities of emergency decision-making. This framework, supported by organisational disciplinary power, aims to limit arbitrariness and maintain legality, ensuring that emergency responses remain both flexible and accountable"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V organizaciji Evropskega združenja žensk pravnic Slovenija (EWLA) in Društva študentov prava Panda je 6. februarja 2025 v Centru Rog potekal dogodek Karierni izzivi mladih pravnic, ki je pritegnil več kot 50 udeleženk. Dogodek je otvorila prof. dr. Verica Trstenjak, ki je poudarila pomen mentorskega povezovanja, komunikacijskih veščin ter medsebojne podpore med pravnicami. Osrednja gostja prof. dr. Vasilka Sancin je predstavila svojo karierno pot ter poudarila pomen samozavesti in vztrajnosti pri doseganju ciljev. Opozorila je, da se mlade pravnice pogosto omejujejo z dvomi o lastni usposobljenosti, ter poudarila, da neuspeh ni konec poti, temveč priložnost za spremembo smeri. Pomemben del dogodka je bilo tudi predavanje prof. dr. Bogdane Herman o komunikacijskih veščinah, v katerem je poudarila izzive, kot sta trema, ter po- men natančne in samozavestne komunikacije. Opozorila je na slabšanje ravni javne razprave in poudarila vlogo pravnikov pri izboljšanju komunikacijske kulture.
