It concludes that China as an ascending power shows no tendency to completely break away from the current international system. Instead, China seeks opportunities within the system, which it uses to support its economic and political interests. This approach brings multiplicative effects for other aspects of China's performance in international institutions, e.g. compensating for the normative criticism it has attracted"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek proučuje vedenje Kitajske znotraj Organizacije združenih narodov (OZN), natančneje, proučuje novopridobljeno zavezanost Kitajske k mirovnim operacijam OZN. Članek ugotavlja, da se Kitajska kot nastajajoča velesila ne želi popolnoma odcepiti od sedanjega mednarodnega sistema globalnega vladanja, temveč v tem sistemu raje išče svoje priložnosti oz. ga uporablja za udejanjanje svojih lastnih političnih in ekonomskih interesov.
