Accuracy in shooting at the basket is becoming increasingly impor- tant in modern basketball as the proportion of long-distance (three-point) shots increases at all levels of competition. In the continuation of this article, we present some experimental shooting training programmes and their impact on shooting accuracy. In this context, we also point out the problematic nature of some shooting accuracy tests, as such tests often lack vali- dated measurement characteristics. Other methodological shortcomings have also been observed in some pieces of research, such as the selection of the subjects, which is often questionable in terms of their number and quality. In the final part of the article, we also present some tools and technologies that can have a significant impact on the improvement of shooting technique (correction of certain errors) and serve as an increasingly important aid and support for coaches in plan- ning the shooting accuracy training process or pacing the so-called shooting form"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Natančnost pri metu na koš ima v sodobni košarki vse večji pomen, saj se na vseh ravneh tekmovanj povečuje delež metov z velike razdalje (za tri točke). V članku najprej opredelimo pomen natančnosti pri metu na koš ter ovrednotimo uspešnost pri izvedbi prostih metov in metov iz igre na različnih ravneh kakovosti igranja košarke. V nadaljevanju predstavimo nekaj eksperimentalnih programov treninga meta in njihovo učinkovitost. V zvezi s tem tudi opozorimo na problematičnost nekaterih testov natančnosti zadevanja, saj ti testi pogosto nimajo preverjenih merskih značilnosti. Pri ne- katerih raziskavah zasledimo tudi druge metodološke pomanjkljivosti, npr. izbor preiskovancev (merjencev) je pogosto vprašljiv z vidika njihovega števila in kakovosti.
