Krščansko upanje, ki se popolnoma razlikuje od zgolj človeškega upanja, pa je razumljivo samo tedaj, če ga dojemamo kot izrazno obliko ljubezni. Jezus Kristus je upanje sveta zaradi svoje zavzetosti za nas – s svojo zmago nad smrtjo in vstajenjem. Občutje nezadostnosti se v človeku kar naprej in vedno bolj presunljivo ponavlja.
