The purpose of our study was to survey the employers' attitudes towards employing people with MHP. Our hypothesis was that employers are predominantly disinclined to employ people with MHP. Methods The participants were representatives of different employers - various companies, societies and organisations who either had not or have had experience with employing people with MHP. The survey was condacted online through the Survey Planet website. Employers from our network in Maribor, Murska Sobota and Ptuj areas were encouraged to participate. The survey had twenty statements that summarised prejudice regarding the employment of people with MHP; the ansewer had to be given on a five-point scale (from \"complete disagree\" to \"completely agree\"). Results We obtained 58 completed surveys from 58 different employers. More than a half of the responses represented the view of persons employed in managerial jobs. Conclusions The results indicate that the employers are still not fully confident when it comes to employing people with MHP. They fear that the employment of persons with MHP may represent a risk in terms of business damage. Nevertheless, the proportion of employers with social responsibility awareness is increasing. The view that persons with MHP get fewer job opportunities in comparison with other job seekers is strongly expressed among the employers. The results indicate that the stigma is still present in daily practice. In the future, it will be necessary to remove the negative effects of stigma on individual as well as on the collective level. The hypothesis that the employers are predominantly disinclined to employ people with MHP was not confirmed"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Izhodišča: Iz prakse Centra za poklicno rehabilitacijo (CPR) v okviru izvajanja storitev zaposlitvene rehabilitacije izhaja, da so osebe s težavami v duševnem zdravju (TDZ) težje zaposljive in zaposlitev tudi težje najdejo. Namen prispevka je z anketo ugotoviti, kakšno je stališče delodajalcev do zaposlovanja oseb s TDZ. Naša hipoteza je bila, da je delež delodajalcev, ki zaposlovanju oseb s TDZ niso naklonjeni, večji. Metode Preiskovanci so bili delodajalci različnih statusnih oblik in različnih izkušenj - takšni, ki izkušnje z zaposlovanjem oseb s TDZ imajo in takšni, ki teh izkušenj nimajo. Na spletišču Survey Planet je bila objavljena spletna anketa. K njenemu izpolnjevanju so delodajalce pozvali strokovni delavci naših treh enot (CPR Maribor, Murska Sobota in Ptuj). Sodelujoči so se do dvajsetih trditev, ki povzemajo predsodke do zaposlovanja oseb s TDZ, opredelili na 5-stopenjski lestvici. Rezultati Anketo je izpolnilo 58 delodajalcev. Dobra polovica prejetih odgovor predstavlja stališče delavcev, zaposlenih na vodilnih ali vodstvenih položajih. Zaključki Rezultati ankete nakazujejo, da delodajalci še niso povsem prepričani v sprejemljivost zaposlovanju oseb s TDZ in dopuščajo možnost, da bi z zaposlitvijo osebe s TDZ lahko tvegali materialno škodo. Odgovori na ostale trditve nakazujejo, da je vse več delodajalcev družbeno odgovornih, da se zavedajo različnosti in jo vse bolj sprejemajo. Med sodelujočimi je močno izraženo stališče, da imajo osebe s TDZ manj možnosti za zaposlitev kot ostali iskalci zaposlitve. Slednje ne glede na odgovore na ostale trditve nakazuje na to, da je stigmatizacija oseb s TDZ v praksi še vedno prisotna. Tudi v prihodnje bo potrebno odstranjevati negativne posledice stigme, tako na individualni kot tudi kolektivni ravni. Hipoteze, da je delež delodajalcev, ki zaposlovanju oseb s TDZ niso naklonjeni, večji, z rezultati ankete nismo potrdili"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-EVJMXP1N","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:doc-EVJMXP1N"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-EVJMXP1N/7f3d63ed-e792-473c-b3cc-e932f54a50c9/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerzitetni rehabilitacijski inštitut RS – Soča"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-EVJMXP1N/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-EVJMXP1N"}}}}
