The results of experiments from Scandinavia are presented as is the average efficienca of harvesters by size of machine and tree species. The Slovene studies date to various periods and circumstances and are therefore not always comparable., but they do point at the possibiliy of using mechanized cutting in some situations in Slovenia as well.
