V svoji karieri je osvojil naslov svetovnega prvaka po združenju IBF, naslov medcelinskega prvaka po združenjih IBF, WBO in NBA, naslov prvaka evropske unije in naslov mednarodnega nemškega prvaka. Nasvetovni boksarski vrh se je po združenju IBF povzpel 11. decembra 2009 v južnoafriškem Johannesburgu. Kar desetkrat je v svoji amaterski karieri osvojil tudi naslov Slovenskega državnega prvaka. Na mednarodnih boksarskih lestvicah The Ring je bil uvrščen najvišje na 4. mestu in na lestvici BoxRec na 5. mestu.
