Possible areas of application are described, such as using the information about the position of the eye for providing additional context specific information to the learner. We report more in detail about current research challenges where we observe users' learning behaviour in real time by monitoring characteristics such as objects and areas of interest, time spent on objects, fequency of visits, and sequences in which content is consumed. This researh is focused on analysing eye-movement patterns during learning and linking these patterns with cognitive processes.
