Definicij e-učenja je veliko, saj lahko na proces učenja v e-okolju gledamo z različnih perspektiv. Zato bodo v prispevku definicije predstavljene, večji poudarek pa bo na umestitvi e-učenja v šolsko okolje. V nadaljevanju bo govora o učnih spretnostih, potrebnih za uspešno učenje v e-okolju. Prispevek pa bo zaključen s primerjavo med tradicionalnim in e-učenjem.
