Neoliberalism is a special kind of state regulation which through use of market mechanisms of competition produces subjects that are subordinated to entrepreneurial logic. The logic of building and managing the city is thus also the subject of neoliberal demands manifested in accelerated gentrification, financialised construction, investments in mega-projects and administration of the city according to entrepreneurial logic. Construction in space is more and more perceived as an investment which must have a return in the form of tax income or increased consumption. The city, its construction and management are becoming an essential part of the reproduction of capitalism and neoliberal social relations</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Namen prispevka je konkretizirati analize neoliberalizma prek teoretiziranja njegovih prostorskih manifestacij v mestu. Upravljanje mesta in njegova konstrukcija tako postajata vse bolj ključna za reprodukcijo kapitalizma in neoliberalnih družbenih odnosov</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-E5QB3788"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-E5QB3788" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-E5QB3788/2e8f38e8-0094-4771-a4e4-6d8b3c7c9af2/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-E5QB3788/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-E5QB3788" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
