Taking into consideration the genres and author's intentions, she explores which conceptions of space are generated by path descriptions in the initial, transitional and destination space focusing on the relationship between the map and the parcours and selectively taking into account the relationship between the text and the visual materialsAusgehend von der Prämisse, dass der Raum nicht objektiv gegeben, sondern von der Perzeption des Einzelnen abhängig und gestaltbar ist, wird insbesondere auf der Grundlage von Certeaus Raumtheorie exemplarisch in zwei Reiseberichten, Konrad Grünembergs spätmittelalterlichem Pilgerbericht und der gelehrten Reisebeschreibung des sächsischen Adligen Georg Christoph von Neitzschitz aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, mit Blick auf die Gattungszugehörigkeit und Autorintention untersucht, welche Raumkonzeptionen die Wegbeschreibungen im Ausgangs-, Übergangs- und Zielraum generieren. Besonderes Interesse gilt hierbei dem Verhältnis von Karte und Wegstreckeunter selektiver Berücksichtigung des Text-Bild-BezugesIzhajajoč iz predpostavke, da prostor ni objektivno dan in da je njegova konstrukcija odvisna od posameznikove percepcije, avtorica eksemplarično analizira dve deli, in sicer poznosrednjeveški romarski potopis Konrada Grünemberga in poučni potopis saškega plemiča Georga Christopha von Neitzschitza iz 17. stoletja. Pri tem se opira predvsem na Certeaujeve teorije prostora. Upoštevajoč žanrsko pripadnost in avtorjeve intence razišče, katere koncepcije prostora generirajo opisi poti v izhodiščnem, prehodnem in ciljnem prostoru.
