The special concern was put on the most important bibliophile among the Auerspergs, Volk Engelbert. The work of his friend and librarian, Schönleben, was put in the limelight. We researched the catalogue of Auersperg's mathematical books, including astronomy and discussed the importance and value of particular items. The library was used as the base for the analysis of Auersperg's scientific interests just after they returned to the Catholic faith. We also examined their opinion about Copernicus. The contemporary destiny of the Auersperg Prince's Library was mentioned. In this very moment just some books of the former Ljubljanian library could be traced in different foreign libraries, especially in USA. We discovered the second edition of Copernicus' De Revolutionibus which National and University Library of Ljubljana inherited from the Ljubljanian Jesuit library. Because of the wrong year written in Cobiss record, this precious treasure was unknown to the researchers up to now"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Opisani so začetki ljubljanske Turjaške knežje knjižnice. Posebej je izpostavljen najpomembnejši ljubitelj knjig med Turjačani, Volk Engelbert. Omenjeno je delovanje njegovega knjižničarja, Schönlebna. Podrobno je raziskan popis matematičnega dela knjižnice in analizirana vsebina ter pomen posameznih astronomskih knjig. Knjižnica služi kot osnova za razmišljanje o znanstvenih prepričanjih Turjačanov takoj po njihovi vrnitvi v katoliško vero in še posebej o njihovem odnosu do kopernikanizma. Orisana je usoda Turjaške knežje knjižnice. Le v posameznih primerih so podane informacije o sodobnih lastnikih nekdanjih ljubljanskih knjig. Navajamo prvovrstno odkritje druge izdaje Kopernikovih revolucij, ki jo je NUK podedoval iz nekdanje knjižnice ljubljanskih jezuitov.
