Its purpose is to record contacts among people with the goal of anonymously alerting users who have been in contact with an infected person. However, as the use of the application is voluntary, doubts have arisen about its effectiveness. Although the process of infection spreading is complex, we can calculate, under certain assumptions, how likely it is that the app warns an infected person about an increased risk of infection, and how high is the probability of infection for app users who receive a message indicating a lower risk of infection compared to non-users. Based on the obtained results, we then estimate the required share of application use that would have a serious impact on the epidemic, provided that all persons who were warned about an increased risk of infection self-isolate themselves"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Mobilna aplikacija OstaniZdrav predstavlja del prizadevanj za obvladovanje epidemije virusa SARS-CoV-2. Namenjena je beleženju stikov med ljudmi s ciljem anonimnega opozarjanja uporabnikov, ki so bili izpostavljeni rizičnim stikom. Ker pa je uporaba aplikacije prostovoljna, se pojavljajo dvomi o njeni učinkovitosti. Kljub kompleksnosti procesa širjenja okužb lahko ob določenih predpostavkah izračunamo, s kolikšno verjetnostjo bo aplikacija okuženo osebo obvestila o povečanem tveganju za okužbo in kolikšno verjetnost za okužbo imajo uporabniki, ki jih aplikacija obvesti o majhnem tveganju za okužbo, v primerjavi z osebami, ki aplikacije ne uporabljajo.
