Nowadays, the population of sailors can be divided into those who are engaged in sailing in a recreational or competitive manner. Due to the increasing availability of sailing, it is becoming more and more popular and therefore an increase in the number of injuries is being recorded. The article presents the effects of the nature of this sport on the occurrence of injuries, their epidemiology and traumatology. Lower back pain, as one of the more common symptoms experienced by sailors with its causes, will be presented. In the end, the authors provide some useful tips for prevention of sailing injuries"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Jadranje je privlačen in zanimiv, a tudi zelo kompleksen šport na prostem. V današnjem času lahko populacijo jadralcev razdelimo na tiste, ki se z jadranjem ukvarjajo rekreativno in na tiste, ki se z njim ukvarjajo tekmovalno, dejstvo pa je, da postaja ta šport vse bolj popularen, s tem pa beležimo tudi povečanje števila poškodb. V članku bodo predstavljeni vplivi narave tega športa na pojav poškodb, njihove epidemiologije ter travmatologije. Kot eden pogostejših simptomov pri jadralcih bo predstavljena bolečina v križu z njenimi vzroki.
