There are multiple aetiologies for VD post stroke. It is correlated with the size of the infarct or haemorrhage, the site of the lesion, and the presence of cognitive, motor, sensory, vision impairment and aphasia. In the urodynamic findings during the subacute and chronic phase after stroke detrusor overactivity is predominant and detrusor underactivity is somewhat less prevalent. Research into the management of urinary incontinence in stroke survivors is still sparse. There is evidence that some therapeutic interventions, such as behavioural training, can be effective. Presently, a multimodal application for interventions is recommended"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Motnja uriniranja (MU) je pri bolnikih po možganski kapi pogosta in povezana s slabšim funkcijskim izidom. V literaturi so opisani številni vzroki za MU po možganski kapi. S težjim potekom MU je povezana velikost infarkta ali krvavitve, mesto okvare, motnja spoznavnih, motoričnih in zaznavnih sposobnosti, slabši vid in afazija. Na urodinamski preiskavi je najpogosteje prisotna čezmerna, redkeje slabša dejavnost mišice detruzor. Doslej je bilo narejenih malo raziskav, ki bi preučevale učinkovitost terapevtskih ukrepov pri bolnikih po možganski kapi z MU. Nekateri terapevtski ukrepi, kot je npr. vedenjska terapija, so lahko učinkoviti pri zdravljenju inkontinence.
