Because the period coincided with the process of intense Italianisation of the Slovenian population and the simultaneous permeation of society by fascism, the author tries to establish, if any of the podesta were after all persons of Slovenian origin, how many there were, in which municipalities and of course what condition they had to fulfil besides the unavoidable membership in the fascist party. The overview lists each region in Slovenian Littoral separately, and uses as a criterium for establishing the national origin of the podesta their surnames since despite the Italianisation they are still quite recognisable"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Avtor v prispevku na podlagi izvirnega arhivskega gradiva podaja pregled vodstev občinskih uprav na ozemlju Julijske krajine v obdobju po 1926, torej po ukinitvi občinske samouprave, ko je volitve županov in občinskih svetov nadomestilo centralistično imenovanje t. i. podestajev in njihovih sosvetov. Ker je omenjeno razdobje sovpadalo z istočasnima procesoma intenzivne italijanizacije slovenskega prebivalstva in fašizacije celotne družbe, je avtor skušal ugotoviti, ali so bile med omenjenimi podestaji vendarle tudi osebe slovenskega izvora, če da, koliko jih je bilo, v katerih občinah in katere pogoje so morale izpolnjevati (poleg neizogibnega članstva v fašistični stranki).
