Road infrastructure consists of various components, with bridges being one of the most critical. It is therefore of great importance to the road network that their safety and serviceability are at least adequate. In Slovenia, bridge performance assessment has been based on the same methodology for almost 30 years. At the time of its development, it was comparable to the methodologies of other developed countries, but in the following decades it has not been significantly updated. After a three-year development, a completely new Bridge management system is put into use. To determine the bridge condition, several Key performance indicators are used: traffic safety, reliability, availability and economic efficiency. The decision optimization process is based on Incremental benefit cost analysis using heuristic optimization method"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V razvitih državah se trend gradbenih del na cestni infrastrukturi preusmerja z novogradenj na redno in investicijsko vzdrževanje. Cestno infrastrukturo tvorijo različne konstrukcije, pri čemer so mostovi eni najpomembnejših. Zagotavljanje njihove prometne in konstrukcijske varnosti ter ustrezne nosilnosti je izjemnega pomena za celotno cestno mrežo. Ocena stanja mostov je v Sloveniji skoraj 30 let temeljila na nespremenjeni metodologiji. V času njenega razvoja je bila primerljiva z metodologijami drugih razvitih držav, vendar je v naslednjih desetletjih nismo bistveno posodabljali in na področju močno zaostali za prakso drugih držav. Po treh letih razvoja bomo v letu 2021 pričeli uporabljati nov Sistem za upravljanje premostitvenih objektov, katerega razvoj je potekal pri DRI, d. o. o., financiral ga je DARS, d. d. Sistem za oceno stanja mostov in sprejemanje odločitev upošteva več tako imenovanih ključnih indikatorjev: prometno varnost, zanesljivost, uporabnost in ekonomiko.
