There are four ethical principles that guide the ethical decision-making in clinical practice: autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence and justice. Ethical issues commonly encountered in rehabilitation medicine are patient selection, the ethics of team care and ethical issues in goal setting. Waiting lists for rehabilitation are among major ethical issues in rehabilitation of orthopaedic and trauma patients, and are unacceptable for the surgically treated patients. Inequality in access to rehabilitative"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Ob naraščanju števila bolnikov s kroničnimi obolenji in poškodbami se rehabilitacijski strokovnjaki srečujemo z vedno večjim številom zahtevnih etičnih vprašanj. Obstajajo štiri osnovna etična načela, ki opredeljujejo etično ravnanje v klinični praksi: spoštovanje avtonomije, načelo dobronamernosti, načelo neškodovanja in načelo pravičnosti.
