More concretely, we deal with the fair cake-cutting problem. We also prove the Ham Sandwich theorem. Furthermore we take a look at equivalent statements of the Borsuk-Ulam theorem. We obtain the generalization of the Borsuk-Ulam theorem on symmetric sets, which we do with the help of degree theory in Euclidean spaces. We also get to know new terms, such as the degree of a smooth or continous mapping and winding number, and their characteristicsV članku se seznanimo z Borsuk-Ulamovim izrekom in njegovo uporabo v problemu poštene delitve. Bolj konkretno se ukvarjamo s problemom pravičnega razreza torte. Pokažemo tudi izrek o sendviču. Nadalje si ogledamo Borsuk-Ulamovemu izreku ekvivalentne trditve. S pomočjo teorije stopnje v evklidskih prostorih izpeljemo posplošitev Borsuk-Ulamovega izreka na simetrične množice.
