The best interests of the child as a legal standard has to be filled in each case individual and with adoption as a special form of child care we have to ensure their healthy holistic development. With adoption we have to firstly guarantee the best interests of the child, and only after that, a need of individual for having a childAvtorica poda pregled celotnega postopka posvojitve, o kateri odloča center za socialno delo, razliko med dvostransko in enostransko posvojitvijo ter kako na vsebinsko odločitev vpliva največja korist otroka. Največjo korist otroka kot pravni standard je treba napolniti v vsakem primeru posebej in s posvojitvijo kot posebno obliko varstva otrok zagotoviti njihov zdrav celostni razvoj.
