This discussion is set within the context of the tourist accommodation sector, specifi cally examining the case of Airbnb. Arguably, a signifi cant change in working practices is occurring because of the rise of the so-called sharing economy. We present the debate on whether this is representative of \"sharing\" in such an economy, and argue that in the case of Airbnb the term \"platform economy\" is a more valid description of the phenomenon. We postulate that the way in which Airbnb specifi cally challenges traditional employment relationships is through three processes that have existed prior to the rise of the platform economy business models: free or minimally payed digital labour and related redefi nitions of work; consumers` commentaries as the main elements of managerial attempts at controlling the quality of service work; and social media use and accompanying commodifi cation having an increasing role in blurring of life and work boundaries"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku obravnavamo poslovne modele t. i. ekonomije delitve (angl. sharing economy) ter njihovo vlogo v spreminjanju narave dela in oblik zaposlenosti. Obravnavane spremembe umeščamo v kontekst namestitvene industrije, saj podrobneje analiziramo vlogo Airbnbja kot enega izmed prvih primerov poslovnih modelov, ki se predstavljajo pod nazivom ekonomije delitve. Airbnb je spletni rezervacijski sistem, ki se od starejših podobnih modelov (npr. Booking. com) razlikuje predvsem v naslavljanju zasebnih posameznikov, da v zameno za plačilo gostijo tujce v svojem domu. V prispevku odpremo razpravo, ki jo tovrstni novi, digitalno podprti, poslovni modeli prinašajo za naravo dela in razumevanje delavskih pravic. Pri tem ugotavljamo, da je poslovni model Airbnbja bolj smiselno opisovati s terminom platformna ekonomija kot ekonomija delitve. V prispevku analiziramo, kako Airbnb izkorišča širše strukturne procese za uveljavljanje svojih konkurenčnih prednosti: trend brezplačnega ali nizko plačanega digitalnega dela, vedno večjo vlogo uporabniških komentarjev kot orodja menedžerskega nadzora in vedno večjo vključenost socialnih medijev v vsakdanje življenje s spremljajočo komodifikacijo. Spremembe, ki jih tovrstni poslovni modeli prinašajo za svet dela so tako predvsem v vse večji prekarizaciji dela, povečevanju emocionalnega dela in brisanju meja med službenim in zasebnim življenjem"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-C61KFAEC","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:doc-C61KFAEC"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-C61KFAEC/c2be-fa187-36313-677b9c-ce6d4f6ab2b2/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Evropski inštitut za komuniciranje in kulturo - EURICOM"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-C61KFAEC/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-C61KFAEC"}}}}
