Ljudevit Perič|"},"dc:description":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"In this piece the author presents the life and work of the mayor of Ljubljana dr. Ljudevit Perič, who is an interesting, unique political character in Slovenian socialist movement in Ljubljana and Slovenia. He led a coalition for municipal election in Ljubljana in December 1922, called the Working People's Union (ZDL) and became mayor of Ljubljana after its success. The coalition was comprised of communists, the Ljubljana faction of the Socialist party of Yugoslavia (SSJ), called Zarja (Dawn), which withdrew from SSJ, and the Workers union of SLS, which was led by Christian socialists. The Working people%s Union won the election with a concrete social program and rushed to implement it after the election victory. ZDL and dr. Perič planed other activities, but Slovenian communists returned to the sectarian revolutionary strategy in the spring of 1923 and withdrew from ZDL. Dr. Perič lost the majority in the city council. In January 1924 there was a government dismissal of the city municipal council and a new government commissar, liberal dr. Ljudevita Periča, ki je zanimiva, edinstvena politična pojava v slovenskem socialističnem gibanju v Ljubljani in v Sloveniji. Decembra 1922 je v Ljubljani vodil koalicijo za občinske volitve, imenovano Zveza delovnega ljudstva (ZDL), in po njeni zmagi postal ljubljanski župan. Koalicijo so sestavljali komunisti, ljubljanska frakcija Socialistične stranke Jugoslavije, imenovana Zarja, ki je izstopila iz SSJ, in Delavska zveza SLS, ki so jo vodili krščanski socialisti. Zveza delovnega ljudstva je na volitvah zmagala s konkretnim socialnim programom in ga po zmagi začela takoj uresničevati. ZDL in dr.
