During its single week of activity, the profile published more than 200 testimonies.Given the frequent criticism that digital platforms are not suitable spaces for reporting, this article argues that @varonescarnaval did not constitute a deficient substitute for traditional reporting mechanisms. Instead, the partici-pants in this space had different needs and pursued goals that could not be met within more institutionalized reporting channels.Drawing on a narrative analysis of 75 testimonies, the study examines the linguistic and discursive specificities of these counter-narratives (Andrews, 2004; De Fina, 2021) to identify new or unusual features within the narrative genre of sexual-assault complaints. These features may reveal the particular needs and purposes fulfilled by digital spaces of this kind – such as reporting publicly as a form of healing or to encourage others to share their experiences, rather than solely to ensure the punishment of perpetratorsLeta 2020 je bil ustvarjen Instagramov profil @varonescarnaval, namenjen anonimnemu deljenju izkušenj spolnega nasilja v času urugvajskega karnevala. V zgolj enotedenskem delovanju je bilo na profilu objavljenih več kot dvesto pričevanj. V nasprotju s pomisleki, da spletna okolja niso ustrezna za podajanje tovrstnih prijav, pričujoča študija želi pokazati ne le, da profil @varonescarnaval ni pomanjkljivo nadomestilo za tradicionalen način prijavljanja, temveč da tovrstno spletno okolje odpira možnosti, ki jih v bolj institucionaliziranih okoljih ni. Na podlagi pripovedne analize 75 prijav se v prispevku preučujejo jezikovno-diskurzivne posebnosti teh protinaracij (Andrews 2004; De Fina 2021) in identificirajo novi ter nepričakovani elementi v pripovednem žanru prijave spolnega nasilja, ki jih spletna okolja omogočajo, na primer potreba po javni prijavi, katere cilj ni zgolj kaznovanje storilcev, temveč predvsem oblika zdravljenja in spodbuda drugim, da delijo svoje izkušnjeEn 2020 se creó el perfil de Instagram @varonescarnaval, que invitó a denunciar anónimamente experiencias de agresión sexual perpetradas por varones del ámbito del carnaval uruguayo. Durante su única semana de actividad, el perfil compartió más de doscientas experiencias. Frente a los cuestionamientos que recibe este tipo de espacios digitales por no tratarse de lugares apropiados para realizar denuncias, en este trabajo se propone demostrar que @varonescarnaval no fue un sustituto deficiente de un espacio de denuncia tradicional, sino que quienes participaron de él tenían necesidades y perseguían fines diferentes a los que podían alcanzar en otros espacios para la denuncia más institucionalizados.A partir del análisis narrativo de 75 denuncias, se analizan las especificidades lingüístico-discursivas de estas contranarrativas (Andrews 2004; De Fina 2021) para identificar elementos novedosos e inusuales en el género narrativo denuncia por agresión sexual.
