It mainly focuses on the question whether graffiti can be considered a form of art. The theme is connected with the issues of how art is conceived in the present and reveals that what we consider art is primarily a construct of society and culture. In this sense, the phenomenon of the institutionalisation of graffiti in art institutions is an example of a specific social context, in which graffiti are produced, presented and accepted as art, because it is essentially the art institution that constructs new meanings for their evaluation. The author complements the theoretical premises with material gathered as part of a field research in the form of statements of graffiti creators and photographs of graffiti in Ljubljana</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Avtorica v pričujočem prispevku obravnava pojav institucionalizacije in komercializacije subkulturnih grafitov, pri čemer gre za njihovo premeščanje iz avtentičnega uličnega konteksta na področje uradne umetnosti oziroma na različna področja komercialne kulture. Avtorica teoretska izhodišča dopolnjuje z gradivom zbranim v terenski raziskavi v obliki pričevanj grafitarjev ter fotografij ljubljanskih grafitov</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-BXKF43A1"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-BXKF43A1" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-BXKF43A1/f0208b83-da5c-4697-8a09-074038331667/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Slovenski etnografski muzej</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-BXKF43A1/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-BXKF43A1" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
