The underpass is located under a double-track line on one of the busiest railway connections in Slovenia. The underpass was constructed using box jacking technology with continuous excavation of the soil. It is the longest structure of its kind to be built in Slovenia with this technology. The underpass is designed as a box structure made of reinforced concrete. The investors are the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Directorate of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia, while the designer of the building is Elea iC. d. o. o., design bureau, and the contractor is Makro 5 gradnje, d. o. o"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Podhod Latterman omogoča oživitev stare povezave središča Ljubljane z mestnim parkom Tivoli. Objekt leži pod dvotirno progo na eni najbolj obremenjenih železniških povezav v Sloveniji. Gradnja podhoda je potekala s tehnologijo podrivanja in sprotnim izkopavanjem materiala, kar je omogočilo neprekinjenost železniškega prometa. Gre za najdaljši tovrstni objekt, zgrajen s tako tehnologijo, v Sloveniji. Objekt je zasnovan kot škatlasta armiranobetonska konstrukcija.
