Data was selected from the cataloguing module of the National and University Library local database in the COBISS system according to the following criteria: printed publications published by Slovenian publishers in 2005 and received as legal deposit. The research was limited by the characteristics of the local database and the COBISS search possibilities. The presentation of the results follows the UNESCO recommendations for statistics on the production of publications. Actual Slovenian publishing production is larger, since there is a gap betweenthe published publications and the legal deposit copies received by the National and University Library. But the presented data still reflects the conditions in the publishing production"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V prispevku so predstavljeni številčni podatki o založniški produkciji v Sloveniji v letu 2005 v luči obveznega izvoda publikacij - koliko založnikov je bilo evidentiranih in kakšne publikacije so izdajali. Avtorica je črpala podatke iz lokalne baze Narodne in univerzitetne knjižnice v modulu za katalogizacijo v sistemu COBISS. Bistveni kriteriji pri iskanju podatkov o založniški produkciji so bili: tiskane publikacije, slovenski založniki, publikacije so bile prejete kot obvezni izvod in leto izida je 2005. Analiza podatkov je bila pogojena z lastnostmi lokalne baze COBISS in z možnostmi iskanja v njej. Predstavitev rezultatov raziskave temelji na UNESCOvih priporočilih o statistikah o produkciji publikacij. Dejanska slovenska založniška produkcija je večja, kajti Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica po poti obveznega izvoda ne dobi vseh izdanih publikacij.
