Proved is the presence of the typical (A. fragilis) and the Colchidic (A. f. colchicus) subspecies of slow-worm and a contact zone between them. Determined are the ranges of the species Anguis fragilis and both of its subspecies in Yugoslavia Proučevana je variabilnost zunanjih morfoloških značilnosti vrste Anguis fragilis Linnaeus 1758 v Jugoslaviji in na osbvbvBalkanskem [!] polotoku. Dokazana je prisotnost nominantne (A. fragilis) in kolhidske (A. f. colchicus) podvrste slepca ter kontaktne cone med njima.
