The two approaches to friendship seem to differ in their perception of the good, pleasant and profitable: while the symposiac discussions are pleasant and undisturbing, thus generating and strengthening friendship among the men drinking wine, those tackling the subjects of popular morality are more sombre, often unpleasant and disturbing. Both approaches are considered in the context of Plutarch's \"workbook\" on friendship, proposing an answer to the question \"How to be a good friend\""},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Članek analizira razliko med temami, o katerih so razpravljali prijatelji na simpozijih, ki jih Plutarh obravnava v Simpozijskih vprašanjih (9 knjig), in tistimi, ki se jih loteva v svojih spisih iz t. i. popularne morale. Pristopa k prijateljstvu se na videz razlikujeta v dojemanju dobrega, prijetnega in koristnega, saj so simpozijske razprave prijetne in nemoteče, kar rojeva in utrjuje prijateljstva med moškimi ob uživanju vina, medtem so popularno-moralistične resnobne in pogosto neprijetne in moteče.
