Osteoporosis, often called the »silent disease«, is a condition characterized by weakened bones, leading to an increased risk of fractures. It primarily affects older adults, especially postmenopausal women. While medications and nutritional strategies are very important in managing this condition, exercise plays a key role in both the prevention and management of osteoporosis. Engaging in regular physical activity does not strengthen bones, but improves balance and coordination, which reduces the risk of falling. By understanding the benefits of exercise, individuals can be reminded to take proactive steps to maintain bone density and protect their future health</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Namen strokovnega članka je bil pregledati in analizirati vso pomembno novejšo literaturo o vadbi pri osteoporozi ter osvetliti pomembnejše ugotovitve, ki so lahko koristne za uporabo in nadaljnje raziskave. Z razumevanjem koristi vadbe se lahko posamezniki opolnomočijo za proaktivne korake pri ohranjanju gostote kosti in varovanju svojega zdravja v prihodnosti</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-AJR6KW0J"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-AJR6KW0J" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-AJR6KW0J/9e4d3068-fe05-45a1-9789-8a82e39c248b/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za šport</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-AJR6KW0J/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-AJR6KW0J" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
