The gas arrester designed for higher powers that has been developed in our laboratory is connected with other electro-elements in a special device that acts protectively in such a way that it diverts the lightning strike to the earth. The construction of the cell is relatively simple no more than four main pieces are joined in a compact compaund, but the procedures are not simple.
