This proposal aims to introduce the use and meaning of three types of noun phrases: a) the bare nouns (plurals and mass nouns) as referential expressions of unspecified amounts; b) the noun phrases introduced by the indefinite article (un/una/unos/unas) as referential expressions of single units, and c) the noun phrases introduced by the definite article (el/la/los/las) as generic or individuative references. This proposal is based on a cognitive approach to the extent that not only it's nourished by the contributions of Cognitive Grammar regarding nominal expressions in English, but it attempts to offer a cognitive vision of the issues in Spanish, highlighting an essential meaning for each type of noun phrases. Furthermore, it's supported by a contrastive approach in order to identify the most relevant aspects on which an introduction to the mentioned grammatical issues should be focused. The proposed approaches and suggestions are in line with those proposed in a doctoral thesis that is currently in progress. Therefore, we should take into account that both this didactical proposal as well as the doctoral thesis on which it is based are not legitimised yet by the academic and scientific community. However, we are venturing to share this work because it may be helpful in the teaching and learning of Spanish as a Second Language"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Pričujoči prispevek je zasnovan kot priporočilo za učitelje; uporabijo ga lahko pri poučevanju španščine kot tujega jezika, na začetni ali osnovni ravni. Avtorica vpelje tri vrste samostalniških izrazov: a) samostalnike (množino in izraze za količino) kot izraze za nedoločeno količino; b) izraze, uvedene z nedoločnim členom (un/una/unos/unas) kot izraze za posamezne enote in c) samostalniške izraze, uvedene z določnim členom (el/la/los/las) kot generične ali specifične reference. Članek je zasnovan na kognitivnem pristopu k problemu, saj izhaja iz izsledkov kognitivne slovnice v angleščini in poskuša ponuditi podobno obravnavo problemov v španščini, tako da osvetli pomen vsakega od različnih tipov nominalnih stavkov. Za prepoznavanje najpomembnejših vidikov problematike avtorica predlaga tudi kontrastiven pristop. Pristopi in predlogi izhajajo iz doktorske raziskave, ki je v teku, zato naj bralec upošteva, da pristopov še ni prepoznala znanstvena in akademska javnost. Kljub temu bo tematika uporabna za poučevanje in učenje španščine kot tujega jezika"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"El presente trabajo constituye una propuesta didáctica pensada para ser llevada al aula en un nivel inicial o elemental de E/LE. El objetivo de la propuesta es presentar el uso y significado de tres tipos de expresiones nominales: a) las constituidas por nombres (plurales y continuos) sin artículo como expresión de cantidad indeterminada, b) las introducidas por un/una/unos/unas como expresión de unidad y c) las introducidas por el/la/los/las como expresiones de carácter específico o de carácter genérico. La propuesta se basa en los planteamientos que se presentan en una tesis doctoral que todavía está en proceso de desarrollo, y trata de ofrecer una visión cognitiva de los citados contenidos gramaticales. Además, adopta un enfoque contrastivo con el fin de determinar los aspectos más relevantes en los que debe focalizarse una primera introducción a las expresiones nominales. Puesto que la citada tesis doctoral todavía no ha sido finalizada, conviene advertir que tanto el presente trabajo como la tesis en la que se basa constituyen propuestas que todavía no han sido validadas o legitimadas por la comunidad científica y académica.
