In parallel, alternative propulsion solutions have also appeared in recent years, from gas in various forms to electricity and hydrogen, most of which are not new, as they were developed many years ago, but at that time, due to their high price and certain restrictions on everyday use that they entail, they did not become established. Today, we can conclude that most technologies have advanced and are also commercially available on the market, but there are still restrictions on mass use - mostly in the form of high prices and lack of infrastructure, which is why sales figures are very modest and do not follow the goals set by policy"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Skrb za zmanjševanje izpušnih plinov gospodarskih vozil se je začela s prvimi okoljskimi regulativami (Euro normami) konec osemdesetih let prejšnjega stoletja. Njihovemu zaostrovanju je sledila tudi tehnologija in tehnološki napredek proizvajalcev vozil pri motorjih ter razvoj rešitev za naknadno obdelavo izpušnih plinov, rezultat pa je več kot 90-odstotno zmanjšanje dovoljenih emisij do danes. Vzporedno s tem so se v zadnjih letih pojavile tudi alternativne pogonske rešitve, od plina v različnih oblikah do elektrike in vodika, ki pa večinoma niso nove, saj so bile razvite že pred mnogo leti, a se takrat, zaradi visoke cene in določenih omejitev za vsakodnevno uporabo, ki jih s seboj prinašajo, niso uveljavile.
