Ethical issues in the physical medicine and rehabilitation settings are common and health care professionals face a range of ethical challenges. Medicinska etika temelji na medicinskem znanju in moralnih načelih. Spoštovanje etike je bistven del kateregakoli medicinskega ukrepa. Osnovna etična načela so dobronamernost, neškodljivost, avtonomija, pravičnost, resnicoljubnost in zaupnost. Etične dileme v fizikalni in rehabilitacijski medicini so pogoste in zdravstveni delavci smo soočeni z različnimi etičnimi izzivi.
