This high school, which is attended by students from unprivileged social classes, is a theatre of conflicts between students and teachers. This study aims at analysing how words can become an instrument of war in the classroom. After a short overview of the linguistic diversity characterising education in France, our article studies excerpts of dialogues between students and their head teacher and explores the importance and function of the non-standard language represented in the book</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Entre les murs de François Bégaudeau présente la vie d'une classe d'un college parisien durant une année scolaire. Ce college qui accueille des éleves de milieux défavorisés est le théâtre de conflits ou s'affrontent éleves et professeurs. La présente étude a pour objectif principal d'analyser comment les mots peuvent devenir un outil de combat ou de guerre dans la classe. Apres un bref aperçu de la diversité linguistique caractérisant l'éducation en France, notre article se propose d'étudier des extraits de dialogue entre les éleves et leur professeur principal et d'explorer l'importance et la fonction des éléments de langue non conventionnels qui apparaissent dans l'ouvre</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Roman Razred (Entre les murs) Françoisa Bégaudeauja predstavlja dogajanje v enem od višjih razredov osnovne šole v pariškem predmestju. Šola, ki jo obiskujejo večinoma učenci iz socialno šibkejših okolij, je kraj, kjer se spopadajo učenci in učitelji. Najpomembnejši cilj pričujoče študije je analizirati, kako lahko besede postanejo orodje spopada oziroma vojne v razredu.
