It does so by first illustrating the factors that motivate people to migrate from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras and explains the context of Mexico's changing policies on migrants. In the second part, a brief analysis of Twitter communications around the (trans)migration crisis and new policy implementation is conducted using big data software</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V pričujočem članku poskušamo raziskati in prevprašati srednjeameriško begunsko krizo leta 2014 in komunikacije, do katerih je prišlo na družbenem omrežju Twitter. V ta namen najprej prikažemo dejavnike, zaradi katerih ljudje migrirajo iz Gvatemale, El Salvadorja in Hondurasa, in pojasnimo kontekst spreminjanja mehiških javnih politik do migrantov.
