Based on the analysis of twenty Slovene novels published after 1991, the article attempts to verify this thesis. The criteria that qualified the novels for inclusion in the representative type of Slovene novel are mainly the features of their characters: 1. passivity, idleness; 2. the structure of yearing; 3. the possition of sacrifice. The results of the analysis have shown that the majority of novels continue the tradition of the Slovene novelistic character as passive yearnes and victim. They remain in the sphere of the representative type of Slovene novel as a novel about disillussin of the victim. The change of the Slovene socio-historical and cultural-political situation in the last decade did not bring forth the expected alteration of the typology of the Slovene novel"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Razprava se ukvarja s spremembo tipičnega ustroja junakov v slovenskih romanih po letu 1991 - ter posledično s spremembo tipologije slovenskega romana- glede na predpostavke Dušana Pirjevca in Janka Kosa, ki s sprememebo družbenozgodovinskih in kulturnopolitičnih podlag slovenstva (slovenska nacionalna osamosvojitev) napovedujeta tudi spremembo tipičnega slovenskega romana in junaka v njem. Na podlagi analize dvajsetih romanov, natisnjenih po letu 1991, skuša razprava to povezavo preveriti. Kriteriji za uvrstitev ali neuvrstitev romanov v reprezentativni tip slovenskega romana so predvsem poteze njihovih junakov: 1. pasivnost, trpnost, nedejavnost. 2. hrepenenjska struktura; 3. žrtveni položaj. Rezultati analize pokažejo, da večina romanov nadaljuje tradicijo slovenskega romanesknega junaka kot pasivnega hrepenelca in žrtve ter ostaja v sferi reprezentativnega tipa slovenskega romana kot deziluzijskega romana žrtve.
