Here we focus on different options for voice rehabilitation. Its objective is to achieve the airflow and consequent vibration within the upper alimentary tract. There are three main contemporary methods - esophageal speech, electrolarynx and insertion of speech prosthesis to allow tracheo-esophageal speech. In Slovenia, esophageal speech is the method of rehabilitation used most often, whereas in Western countries the use of speech prosthesis is the most commonGlavni cilj rehabilitacije po laringektomiji, s katero kirurško zdravimo raka grla in spodnjega dela žrela, je ponovna sposobnost tvorbe glasu in posledično govorne produkcije. V članku se osredinjamo na različne možnosti rehabilitacije, katerih bistvo je doseči kontroliran tok zraka skozi zgornja prebavila oziroma vibriranje struktur v njih. Poznamo tri glavne sodobne metode rehabilitacije: ezofagealni govor, govor z elektrolarinksom in vstavitev govorne proteze ter traheoezofagelani govor z njo.
