The aim of this article is to show the role of foreign literature in the teaching of national literature in French secondary schools. To this end, we have examined the representation of world literature in the official curricula and the presence of foreign and francophone works in recent French textbooks. While our analysis shows a clear openness to the lit-erary heritage of the world, it also raises questions. about the hierarchy of these literary works and the pedagogical practices used to ensure the teaching of world literature</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">La mondialisation de la littérature a remis en question l’enseignement de celle-ci de-puis la fin du XXe siecle (Fraisse, 2012 ; Dufays, 2024) et l’enseignement secondaire français n’échappe pas a ce débat, comme en témoigne l’ouverture des programmes nationaux aux littératures étrangeres et francophones depuis quatre décennies. L’objectif de cette contribution est de montrer la part accordée a la littérature étrangere dans l’enseignement de la littérature nationale dispensé dans les établissements secondaires français. Pour ce faire, nous avons examiné la représentation de la littérature mondiale dans les instructions officielles et la présence des ouvres étrangeres et francophones dans l’offre éditoriale récente des manuels de français. Si l’analyse montre une nette ouverture au patrimoine littéraire mondial, elle questionne aussi bien la hiérarchisa-tion de ses ouvres que les pratiques éducatives pour rendre cet enseignement effectif</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Globalizacija književnosti je od konca dvajsetega stoletja postavila pod vprašaj po-učevanje književnosti (Fraisse, 2012; Dufays, 2024) in tudi francosko srednješolsko izobraževanje se ni izognilo tej razpravi, kar dokazuje odpiranje nacionalnih učnih načrtov za tujo in frankofonsko književnost v zadnjih štirih desetletjih. Namen tega prispevka je pokazati, koliko tuje literature je vključene v pouk nacionalne literature v francoskih srednjih šolah. V ta namen smo preverili zastopanost svetovne književnosti v uradnih navodilih ter prisotnost tujih in frankofonskih del v zadnjih izdajah francoskih učbenikov.
