Meusel & Kästner v Sloveniji|The paper discusses the present distribution of Carlina acanthifolia subsp. utzka (Hacq.) Meusel & Kästner. The taxon's former and present distribution inthe northwestern part of its range as well as the vegetation conditions at its sites were studied. After nearly hundred years the sites of this species were found again in Slovene and Croation parts of Istria. It has been stated that in the former times the species used to be spresd more to the east and north than nowadays.
