The article enriches this historical tour with meditations on the relation between erotica and pornography, the funny and serious, and fantasy and reality in the sex life of humansČlanek zagovarja deveto umetnost kot najbolj primeren medij za umetniško in kritično upodobitev človeške seksualnosti. Svojo poanto ponazarja s historičnim ovinkom žanra, od biblij iz Tijuane prek ameriških superherojev pa vse tja evropskih mojstrovin, in, nenazadnje, v obliki posebne študije primera, Izgubljena dekleta, metapornografske mojstrovine 21. stoletja Alana Moora in Melinde Gebby.
