These are texts that: a) enshrine an ideology of defeatism, constructing dystopian scenarios in which globalized systemic violence is present, or b) propose characters who renounce any attempt at a reaction, accepting their own impossibility of acting. In contrast to fiction of this nature, which advocates reflection on the impossibility of salvation for the planet and its inhabitants, our purpose is to analyze the literary work of those Uruguayan writers who care about repre-senting the idea of a path that is still possible. The article explores contemporary stories that challenge the dystopian defeatism traditionally associated with environmental literature and propose more resilient alternatives to the ecological crises of the Anthropocene</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V sodobni književnosti je veliko primerov, ki ponujajo ultra pesimistično branje človekovega destruktivnega delovanja: gre za besedila, ki bodisi poveličujejo ideologijo defetizma in razvijajo distopične scenarije, v katerih je prisotno globalizirano sistemsko nasilje, bodisi predstavljajo like, ki se odrečejo vsakršnemu poskusu odziva in sprejmejo lastno nezmožnost ukrepanja. Ponudimo primere sodobnih zgodb, ki kljubujejo distopičnemu defetizmu, ki ga tradicionalno povezujemo z okoljsko književnostjo, in predlagajo alternative, odpornejše na ekološke krize v antropocenu</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-7FX5GGEY"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-7FX5GGEY" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-7FX5GGEY/366f0519-acc9-4f1a-8305-a5f793965ac5/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Filozofska fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-7FX5GGEY/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-7FX5GGEY" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
