Among other issues, the authors address the following: a question of increasing the share of renewable energy sources, problems related to the use of water and wind energy in the RS, as well as the question of involving non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders in the decision-making process from the perspective of public interest in the construction of energy facilities. In this context, they also compare the development of energy infrastructure and the status of non-governmental organisations in the RS with the development and the situation in Washington State, which is considered an evergreen state and a leading US state in the area of environmental protection and the transition to a low-carbon society. As the RS is a small country with a limited potential for more extensive developments, the discussion of energy needs should be laid out systemically - including the shift towards a reduction of the ever-increasing energy consumption (e.g. efficient energy use, more work from home, shorter work week, etc.)</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Avtorja v prispevku opozarjata na različne zorne kote v zvezi z aktualnimi projekti in načrti za gradnjo energetske infrastrukture v Republiki Sloveniji (RS) s stališča prehoda v nizkoogljično družbo. Ker je RS majhna država, v kateri so možnosti velikih posegov v prostor omejene, je treba diskusijo o energetskih potrebah zasnovati sistemsko - tudi v smeri zmanjševanja vse večje potrošnje energije (na primer učinkovita raba energije, več dela od doma, krajši delovni teden)</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:doc-6U2YL4NB"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:doc-6U2YL4NB" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:doc-6U2YL4NB/37fa-964-1-046be7e19e84c594a75-1e7bd/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:doc-6U2YL4NB/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:doc-6U2YL4NB" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
