More precisely, it concerns issues related to the competence of the Member State of last (self-)employment and the aggregation of periods after having been economically active for a certain period, the use of rules for unemployed persons residing in a non-competent State and the rules on the export of unemployment benefits. The author argues for a proposal that would to a larger extent follow (broader) systemic solutions and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, while it would also safeguard the legal position of the unemployed, distribute the burden of providing unemployment benefits more fairly among the Member States and lastly, contribute to the simplification of rules"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek se osredinja na koordinacijo dajatev za brezposelnost v pravu Evropske unije, predvsem na izbrana vprašanja, ki so v postopku spreminjanja Uredbe (ES) št. 883/2004 še odprta oziroma sporna. Natančneje gre za vprašanja, povezana s pristojnostjo države članice zadnje (samo)zaposlitve in seštevanjem obdobij po določenem času delovne aktivnosti, uporabo pravil za brezposelne osebe, ki ne prebivajo v pristojni državi, ter za izplačevanje dajatev za brezposelnost v drugo državo članico.
